Terms and Conditions

This agreement is between you and your driving instructor, and starts from the day you book your first lesson.

Your first lesson must be paid at least 48 hours in advance. If it is not, the lesson may be cancelled.
After your first lesson, each lesson should be pre-paid.
You can pay by cash or bank transfer, directly to your instructor.
Block booking courses must be paid in full.
Your instructor is self-employed. Your agreement, and all payments for lessons, are between you and your instructor.

Please give at least 48 hours' notice to move or cancel a lesson. Without this notice, the full lesson fee is payable.
Auto Drivers may postpone a lesson if your instructor feels the weather or road conditions are dangerous or not suitable for training.

Please be on time for your lessons. If you do not turn up, your instructor will normally wait 15 minutes before cancelling the lesson, and the full lesson fee is payable.
If your instructor is running late for reasons outside their control, they will do their best to contact you. Any time lost will be made up, either at the end of the lesson or at another time.

Auto Drivers may end a lesson if a learner appears unfit to drive, for example because of alcohol, drugs, medication or abusive behaviour. The full lesson fee is payable if this happens.

Auto Drivers may decline to provide the car for your practical test if, in the instructor's opinion, you are not yet at the standard needed to pass.
If the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) cancels your practical test, the pre-test lesson and car hire are not refundable by Auto Drivers. Any claim must be made directly to the DVSA.

If you ask for a refund on a block booking, the lessons you have already taken are charged at the full single-lesson rate, and any remaining balance is refunded to you.
